Two Huge Events This Weekend in Downtown Atlanta

If you’ve been living in Atlanta for more than a month, then chances are you’ve noticed the insane amount of festivals and major events we have here.  Every single weekend there seems to be a ‘have-to-attend’ type event that’s getting all the press.  The best part…it’s true!  Week after week Atlanta residents are treated to great times like the Winter and Jazz Festival, STOMP! At the Fox Theatre, and even free boot camp classes at Piedmont Park.  This weekend is no different with the Southeastern Flower Show and the Run for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta taking place in or near Downtown Atlanta!

The Southeastern Flower Show is being held at the Cobb Galleria Centre and features more than 3 acres of landscape and floral exhibitions, merchandise, photography, local and national speakers, books, and more. If you’re looking to get your Uptown Square apartment decked out for spring, then this is your place to score some wonderful flowers.

If flowers aren’t your thing, then come out to Centennial Park this Saturday to participate in the 14th annual Run for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  This run/walk event is healthy family fun for a great cause with an entire day of events to keep everyone entertained and happy!

As the events get more and more amazing, I’ll continue to update our community with the details of how you can attend or participate each weekend!

Are there any specific events you’d like me to cover?  Feel free to leave a comment on this post and I’ll be sure to blog about them in the near future.
