View final NASA shuttle launch at Tellus Museum

Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville will be broadcasting NASA's final space shuttle launch

Most of us probably will not be in Florida to witness NASA’s final space shuttle launch. It’s just as well. Certainly, Kennedy Space Center will be stuffed to the gills with onlookers and well-wishers.

But we still don’t have to miss out on the action. Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville will be broadcasting the shuttle launch, live.

A giant movie screen will show NASA’s pre- through post-launch activities. While the audience watches, shuttle experts will be present to discuss what to expect throughout the entire process.

Atlantis is the shuttle doing the honors of NASA’s 135th blast-off into space. T-zero time is set for 11:26 a.m. EDT. The launch date is subject to change. be sure to check SpaceLaunch News before arriving at Tellus.

Tellus is just a short drive from Atlanta, just off I-75.
